In the following hours, the size of Mario's buttocks in the movie became a highly discussed topic on Twitter. The best way to dress a square-shaped booty is by going with a patterned high-waisted brief or boy short. Several minutes later, RJ Palmer tweeted a "fixed" version of the poster that received over 2,100 retweets and 13,100 likes in one day (shown below, right). Square-shaped butts, sometimes called 'flat butts', are butts whose outer cheek line matches the line of the hips, and whose bottom cheek line matches the line of the lower back.

Within two minutes of the poster being posted, the artist RJ Palmer made the first viral tweet mentioning Mario's smaller buttocks size. The poster, which shows Mario's back, gained over 21,000 retweets and 108,600 likes in one day (shown below).
